BibleTalk with Jeff Asher began in 1988 as a call-in radio broadcast which aired for ten years on KGNC in Amarillo, TX. Later it moved to the internet as a website for articles, class materials, sermon outlines and debates to be downloaded for use all over the world. Now, BibleTalk is still growing and changing, being a podcast for audio and, eventually, video Bible study resources.

After the conversion of Saul of Tarsus, Peter and other of the Apostles were able to leave Jerusalem and visit the churches that had been established as a result of the great dispersion recorded in Acts 8:3-4. Peter comes to Lydda, Sharon, and Joppa confirming the churches and preaching the Gospel and many are converted.

Micah also describes the character of the remnant as a people determined to worship the one true God alone forsaking wealth, men and idols.

Micah announces the coming kingdom of Messiah. A kingdom of peace where the nations no longer oppose one another but serve the one true God. This kingdom will be composed of the remnant of Judah whom Jehovah will restore from those whom He sends captive into Babylon.

The prophet announces judgment upon the nation of Judah for the oppression of the princes, the lying of the prophets, and the corruption of the priesthood. God will destroy Jerusalem a city built upon bloodguiltiness. It will be plowed like a field and the Temple Mount will be overgrown like the high places of the forests.

That which knits these diverse members into a functioning whole, like the sinews of the body frame, is love the love of God (Colossians 2:2, 19). In this study od 1 John 4, we consider the what, the how, and the why of the Christ's command "love one another."

During the second Passover of Jesus' personal ministry, the Lord encounters a man which had been lame for 38 years at the pool of Bethesda. Jesus filled with compassiuon healed this man on the Sabbath day. The miracle becomes the center of a long running controversy with the Jews. In this study, we consider the miracle as it relates to John's stated purpose, "these thinsg are written that ye might believe."
