Hosea 5:1-15

Jeff Asher continues the study of Hosea by examining the stubborn rebellion of the priests, princes and people of Israel  revealed in Hosea 5:1-15. They are like those who remove the ancient landmark, they shall fall in their iniquity. God will withdraw from them until they acknowledge their offence and seek Him earnestly.  

Andrew and Philip (John 1:35-51)

John, more than the other Evangelists, gives detailed interviews between Jesus and persons whom He encountered. These interviews provide unique insight into the man Jesus of Nazareth and convey valuable lessons from Jesus as a master teacher. Furthermore, they provide insight into the hearts of men that otherwise would be unknown to us revealing the transformative power that the Gospel has upon men.

The Conversion of the Eunuch (Acts 8:26-39)

The conversion account of the Ethiopian Eunuch is the clearest and most concise fulfillment of the great commission as expressed in Mark 16:15–16 to be found in all the Scriptures. If one will carefully examine the preaching of Philip and the obedience of the Eunuch, he will readily follow the Eunuch's example and be baptized.   

The Ideal Parent

Jeff Asher considers what the Scriptures reveal about parenting. We are not left to pattern ourselves after the examples of failed fathers. Rather, we can look at The Father and Jesus as a father, and the Church as "the mother of us all" and learn what is involved in becoming the ideal parent.

Hosea 4:1-18

God issues an indictment against the nation Israel and her corrupt priesthood. Jeff Asher discusses the reality that a corrupt religion can only a produce a corrupt people.
